This food is fantastic. The Staff are always friendly, with a great selection on the menu. more people should go there so we don't lose our last Mongolian grill.

Chao's Mongolian Grill is one of our favorite places to go for Sunday lunch. The food is always great, since we chose our own ingredients which are always fresh. The owners and staff are great people who really care about their customers.

You can never go wrong coming to Mongolian Grill, that's why it's always pack. The veggies and meats are always fresh and cooked to my liking. They have others things on the menu like "black bean sauce noodles" The owner is super friendly. Come try it out. You will not be disappointed.

The food is incredible and well prepared! They have a great selection and a family-owned feeling. 😄

Went with a birthday group. Each person was able pick their favorites. Everyone was very happy with their choices.

Everything on the buffet is raw (including the meat) you get a bowl and put as much meat and veggies as you can fit in it in it season it yourself and pick your sauce/s. Then you give the bowl to the cook choose between lo mein noodles, fried rice, steamed rice, brown rice or tortillas and they cook it all together in the sauce. It is absolutely amazing! (Also there is enough there that you can eat on it two-three more times after you get home)

Very good food, great service. Glad to find a good Mongolian grill. Salad wasn't anything special, and fried rice not the best, but overall very good. Whole party enjoyed and will be back.

Good: fresh, select your own ingredients cooking. Good selection of food (beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, mussel, calamari).Opportunities for improvements: 1. The restaurant table/seat show wear/tear2. Layout is a bit strange (starting place for food selection is also kitchen entry). You can also see lots of dishes pile up in kitchen....I would give 4.5 stars but Google system only provide either4 or 5.One thing I did not like: they put a sign 12.95 for dinner Mongolian BBQ. When we got the check, it was 14.95 per person. They did put a note (unlimited) on check. It's a little misleading.... since its only two dollars differences we did not say any word just accepted.

We had a large gaggle of children and 3 adults. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The food choices are great and still healthy. I like the way they waited to cook our whole table's stuff together. It was done so fast! Great food, good prices, great staff. Thank you!

This place is amazing 😍....

My husband and I love this place! Everything is always so fresh and it’s our go-to spot in town. The decor leaves much to be desired, but I really don’t even mind it. The servers are all so friendly and the kitchen staff are so quick. It can get pretty busy on some days but we’ve never had to wait more than ten minutes for our meal.

Loved it. Great selection of fresh veggies. Food is very good. We had lo mein noodles and fried rice with lots of meats and veggies.

Very nice atmosphere. Customer service was great. The food was amazing. You grab a bowl, decide what you want in your meal. They have several meat options and many, many vegetable options. You grab a small bowl and decide your sauce. They ask if you want fried rice, noodles, rice, and I forget the other options. They give you a number, cook it up, and bring it to your table. It was amazing. It's also a great place for people with stomach issues because you can see the ingredients and decide exactly what goes in your meal. I will definitely be returning. It was about $13 a person but that probably varies on what you get in your meal.

I had such a fun time eating here! The K-Asian crab boil was delicious! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Side note: there's no changing station in the restroom

Breaks my heart to say this, because I love the food and service, but I observed one of the cooks improperly wearing their mask, so I will not be returning here until after the pandemic has abated.

The service is fast and there servers are great. You build your own bowl of food as well as seasonings and sauces. It is affordable and a must vist place if you are in the area.

Very Friendly and Nice Staff. They know me as a returning customer. This place is special because it was the last restaurant I treated my Father Sgt Larry Moore to before his demise in 2019. There was a customer watching my father and I bless our food. Once we checked out we were left a note by the unidentified, saying "it was a blessing to see A Father and Daughter Bless their food." Thank you to the unanimous and Thank You To Mongolian for Great food and service. See you this evening.

I ordered some buffalo wings and I wasn’t satisfied because they gave me all legs like if your gonna sale wings atleast give flats as well, and waited 10mins after my food came up

We were driving through Chattanooga on our way home to Knoxville and decided to stop here for dinner. We love all Asian food and this was especially a treat since is a “create your own” and they cook it. My girls (9 and 6) loved it and so did my husband and I. Friendly staff! We will definitely stop by again on our way through town. Thanks for exceeding our expectations!

Our visit to Chao's Mongolian Grill was a mixed bag today. We were there at 2:15pm and were quickly and warmly greeted and shown to a table. Our waiter arrived quickly and took our drink order, however he was very quiet and had no personality. Drinks and soup were brought in a timely manner.The ingredient selection was not skimpy even though it was close to the afternoon closing time. After leaving our bowls to be cooked we went back to the table. The food was brought to the table before we knew it and it was delicious as always. The waiter brought drink refills long before we had finished our first cups, a change from those restaurants that make you wait for a refill.Just a note, beginning in June they will start closing on Mondays.

Oh this is one of my favorite Buffett ever! The food is delicious and the seating is no wear near limited. The employees are super sweet and very nice, if you need anything its not scary or daunting at all to ask. The bathrooms and seating are very clean. The buffett has a wide variety of meats and veggies and sauces, so if you have any kind of special foods need its no problem.

The food at this establishment is fantastic. the prices are in line with a good dinner. However the White staff is lousy or rather one particular waitress / Hostess is lousy. My wife and I have eat there on an average of a couple times a month for about 7 months or so. we have never had a bad experience until this evening. We went in tonight and all the booze will full that were lots of tables that will four seaters that were empty however the waitress / Hostess would not say this at one of the four-seat tables and told us we had to use the back Booth table with a chair . I told her I had a bad back this would not work and we took the food to go unfortunately I won't go back there and eat again now because of it

The servers,cooks, and management are always so nice and polite even the food is amazing. The wings crunchy an cooked to order and the bowls always come out so fresh and edible to the look and touch. Love this place recommend it everywhere I go even out of town😍

This place is consistently amazing. I have requested to go here as a birthday dinner for years and every time I have received great service, delicious food, and a short wait. There is an astounding number of options from meat to vegetables to sauces to choose from, making this establishment great for even the most picky of eaters.

I love this place! I love being able to create my own meal, with someone else in charge of actually preparing it. The food always looks, and tastes fresh, on the bar, and the chefs on the griddle are always extremely friendly and helpful. And they are so fast! The portions are massive and can easily be turned into your next 2 meals of leftovers. The atmosphere is casual. Almost like a diner. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because their "kid's meal" is the same as the adult meal. Just $2 less. My kids usually eat 1/2 of a child's portion of anything, so it ends up wasting food and money. But overall it's wonderful.

Great place! Every time I have been here the people have been so nice. The prices are perfect for what you get. The only reason it doesn't grab a 5 star rating is because like all air vents. They leak and some of the tables are placed to close to them.

Great mongolian grill place! They have Korean food. It is actual taste that you can taste in Korea. (Bit pricy, but worth it)

Vert helpful staff! I am vegan and they go above and beyond to make sure I can enjoy my food with no animal products. They even went as far as bringing out the box of noodles to let me read ingredients and rest assured that they were vegan. I didn't ask for this, they did it voluntarily and I greatly appreciate it!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was fun to design your own meal.
